Angular vs React with .NET

Which should you choose?
- When working with a .NET backend, both Angular and React are excellent frontend choices. But the “better” one depends on your project goals:
Angular + .NET
- Complete framework (routing, forms, DI included)
- Structured & opinionated → ideal for enterprise apps (ERP, HRMS, WMS)
- Strong TypeScript integration (familiar for C# developers)
React + .NET
- Lightweight & flexible (choose your own libraries)
- Huge ecosystem & active developer community
- Best for SPAs, dashboards, and modern micro-frontends
Rule of Thumb:
- For strict, long-term enterprise systems → choose Angular
- For flexible, fast-moving apps → choose React
- I’ve noticed most modern .NET apps lean towards React, but Angular still dominates in large enterprise projects.
